Airific air purifier is one of the newest personal air purifiers, launched in 2020.
What is more, Airific is a completely new air purifier brand. That means we don’t have a viable track record, test-and-tried previous Airific air purifier, and so on.
In short, with the new brands, it’s smart to be a bit careful. You can get an Alen or a Dyson air purifier with confidence because they are respectable air purifier brands with a good track record.
Here the deal with Airific:
The air purifier is well-designed and has a HEPA filtration system. For a new brand, it seems that everything is going according to plan.
However, we do lack the specification sheet and any and all feedback. It’s likely that if you buy it, you would be one of the first Airific owners.
In all fairness, the Airific air purifier is quite a remarkable little device. ‘Well-design’ and ‘small’ are exactly what you want to hear when buying a personal air purifier. The HEPA filters guarantee that the Airific will capture more than 99.97% of the smallest 0.3-in-diameter particles, including dust, pollen, and smoke.
You can easily put it in your bag and carry it to the office, which is a plus.
We have limited specifications available. However, we’ll try best to review the Airific air purifier given the available specs, $100 price tag, and the industry standards:
Airific Air Purifier Review At-A-Glance: Appealing small air purifier that fits in your hand. You can use it as a desktop personal air purifier at the office or at home. It has HEPA filters that capture more than 99.97% of dust, pollen, smoke, and other air contaminants that are as small as 0.3-microns in diameter.
Airific Air Purifier Specifications
Airific Air Purifier HEPA Filters
Airific is a very small personal device. The biggest part of all air purifiers are filtered, and none are bigger than HEPA filters.
That’s why it’s nice to see HEPA air filters in the Airific despite its miniature size. HEPA filter, by definition, captures more than 99.97% of air pollutants that are as small as 0.3-microns in diameter.
Air pollutants that Airific removes with the help of the HEPA filter are smoke, dust, mold, pet dander, dust mites, and so on. All these, in general, reduce the quality of the air we breathe.
Here is the green HEPA filter inside the Airific air purifier:
What is more, Airific claims that their HEPA filters are hospital-grade. Does that mean they are the advanced H13 medical-grade HEPA filters? Those are even better than standard HEPA filters in reducing the smallest air pollutants. The best brands like Alen BreatheSmart, Medify, Levoit are all the producers of the best H13 HEPA filter air purifiers.
Airific Air Purifier CADR Rating And Maximum Airflow
The CADR rating is measured by AHAM, and it’s the most important metric for all HEPA air purifiers, including the Airific. CADR ratings for personal desktop air purifiers range between 40 and 100, with a 50 to 150 CFM max. airflow.
As of yet, we do not have a CADR rating or max. airflow for Airific air purifier. Usually, producers will measure their own CADR rating.
CADR rating you can trust is independently measured by AHAM, Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers. The measurement of smoke CADR, pollen CADR, and dust CADR is involuntary and Airific has not yet decided to independently test their air purifier in such a way
Airific Air Purifier Square Footage (Recommended Room Size)
When it comes to personal air purifiers like Airific, the recommended coverage area is usually quite small, between 30 sq ft and 120 sq ft.
Usually, a specification sheet will recommend the appropriate square footage. Lacking that, we can’t precisely say what is the recommended coverage area of the Airific air purifier.
The important thing to note is that with a personal air purifier, you usually don’t look for the unit to improve indoor air quality in the whole room. They are designed to effectively purify the air in the immediate surrounding of the unit.
Airific Air Purifier Power Consumption (Wattage)
We also don’t have the full power consumption specifications for Airific. However, we know that this desktop air purifier uses a 5V USB cable. That’s quite interesting.
Most air purifiers use 110/120V voltage. Apparently, Airific is small enough to be powered by a 5V cable:
This is probably to the very low wattage of Airific air purifier. For example, if the unit needs 0.5W of power, you can use the 5V with 0.1 Amp current, and get the required 0.5W.
All in all, given how small it is, Airific really uses a negligible amount of electricity.
Airific Air Purifier Noise Levels
As far as noise levels are a concern, personal air purifiers should be as quiet as the Alen BreatheSmart air purifier for the bedroom.
Due to the lack of a specification sheet, we don’t have the noise level interval for Airific. Nonetheless, this is likely a quieter device with below 55 dB maximum airflow.
The engineering that goes into designing silent air purifiers is extensive and, therefore, expensive. As we’ll see in the next section, the price of Airific is not high. That also means it’s likely not the quietest desktop air purifier.
Airific Air Purifier Price
Airific costs $109.99. This is actually not the lowest price a personal air purifier can have.
These tiny air purifiers are quite, well, tiny and therefore don’t have big price tags.
The price of Airific is actually quite high for a new brand air purifier. It’s apparent that the positioning of Airific in the air purifier market will not be as purely a low-budget unit producer.

Final Verdict On Airific Air Purifier
Airific is a new brand with quite a bold and well-designed device. It’s a small desktop air purifier for personal use.
Many of the relevant specifications which would present the basis of Airific review, however, is currently missing.
The best guesses, based on voltage and the use of HEPA filters, lack specificity for a thorough review. In time, however, the specifications will be available and customer feedback will tell us a story that even the specs can’t. As for now, here is the overall rating:
